Sarah has been studying Nursing and while studying BSN she is also taking a few subjects every semester at Philippine Bible College (PBC) in Baguio City. When she finishes her course in Nursing she also competed Associate in Theology at PBC. March 30, 2008 she graduated Nursing at the University of Baguio, with flying colors, Honorable Mention and was chosen to deliver the speech “Tribute to Parents” of the graduating class 2008. However due to too many nursing students all over the country, the hospitals could not accommodate all the students at the same time, so she still has to complete here hospital duty on May and complete all her cases, there are still some cases in clinical procedure that she needs to complete before being allowed to take the board exam. So lord’s willing she will finish all the requirements next month, enrolled for the Nursing Review and take the Board Exam scheduled this December. We hope and pray that with God’s blessings and guidance she can be of help in her family and in the projects of the church very soon. Sarah and I in the graduation march.

Wichita, Kansas Update:
On April 18th, we have a special guest that talked to our Friday night Bible study. Through Mrs. Mary Brewer, Mylene’s teacher at Trinity, we got to invite Mrs. Gracia Burnham to have an inspirational talk to all of us. We extended the invitation to our friends and family who might be willing to listen to her as she talked about her experiences in the Philippines while she was captured as a hostage together with her husband in 2002. It was a great night and we learned about her faith and how the Lord took care of her and Martin. There were about 200 people that attended the occasion at Central Church of Christ. Our thanks to the Central church brethren as they allowed us to use their facilities and extra thanks to Mickey Saffell for her continued support to the Philippine Missions and to those that got involved in this ministry.
April 25-26, the Women Walking with God Conference at Northside was a success! There were over 700 women that attended the event. We have a booth for the Metro Manila Ministries and sold soveniers for the ladies and at the same time help out the ministries in the Philippines. Thanks to all those who volunteered their time to help out and contributed to the ministry.
